Simone Pertuiset

Simone Pertuiset creates a memoir of Europe's transition into the technology-driven modern age, and  of ordinary people and larger-than-life characters living in extraordinary times.

She has lived, worked, and volunteered in many countries and has traveled extensively including sailing around the world for seven years on a small sailboat.

After more than 30 years as a teacher, science and technical writer and author, and mother, she turns her  writing skills and creative style to historical novels and storytelling.

Brought up in a multicultural family with a British mother and French father, she was immersed in two distinct cultures from a young age. Simone grew up in Quebec, spent many childhood summers  in Sussex and Haute Savoie and currently lives in Toronto.
